Skai China is looking for a Mid-level Regulatory Affairs Validation Engineer to join our Regulatory Affairs team based in our Shanghai campus, China.

The China Regulatory Affairs Validation Engineer will support the Skai Product & Services Safety organization as a technical liaison between Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) design validation, production, and delivery teams, Chinese government agencies including Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and China Aviation industry and trade organizations focused on related technical and regulatory policies. The position also plays a critical role in understanding related CAAC policy and rulemaking activity, including but limited to China Civil Aviation Regulations (CCAR) p.25 regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from  an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,  mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within the aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industry.

  • Experience with Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.

  • Develops optimal subsystem designs, performing requirements  definition and flowdown, creating operational concepts and products,  developing interface requirements, and performing verification and  validation.

  • Resolves technical issues and ensuring the spacecraft and system are flight worthy prior to delivery.

  • Creates tools and techniques to optimize, analyze, and validate performance.

  • Develops  solutions with cross-functional teams to assure mission success and  presenting those findings to customer and senior management.

  • Performs trade studies to meet program requirements.

  • Drives technology roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with aircraft, missile,  spacecraft, autonomous platform or similar vehicle Guidance, Navigation  or Control systems

  • A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of  Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,  computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with astrodynamics.

  • Experience working with classical and modern control theory/design/analysis.

  • Experience operating in aerospace environments.

  • Experience working with aerodynamics.

  • Experience working with navigation controls (Kalman filters, GPS/INS, state determination, attitude estimation).

Education / Experience

Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering or higher.
